Completed in 2017, the new headquarters for Central Bank of Ireland in Dublin Docklands represents a significant restoration of a previously defunct concrete structure where the existing structural frame was largely maintained
To accommodate the new design, DOWSIL™ 791 silicone was used to weatherproof new additions to the building’s external façade, while DOWSIL™ 895 one part structural glazing sealant was used to help secure the rooftop glass atrium in place.
In addition to the use of exposed concrete and brick to complement the surrounding buildings, 26 York Street features an impressive façade design. Here, DOWSIL™ 791 silicone was identified as the ideal product to seal the glazing, thanks to its superior weathering characteristics and high strength bond.
Counting House
As part of a decade-long renovation of Cork’s iconic medieval quarter, DOWSIL™ 791 weatherproofing silicone was selected to seal the Counting House’s external glass to its joints and create a stunning façade.

Liffey Valley, Dublin
As part of a new €26million development to add 10,500m2 of retail area at Dublin’s Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, DOWSIL™ 791 silicone sealant was specified to support the installation of a complete glazing package.
