<p>DOWSIL™ 791 was recently specified for use in a redevelopment of the main grandstand at The Curragh Racecourse, located in the historic horse-breeding territory of County Kildare.</p>

<p>The project’s cantilevering roof is supported by approximately 4,300 m2 of glazing, giving the impression that the structure is floating. Thanks to its excellent unprimed adhesion and weatherproofing credentials, DOWSIL™ 791 was identified as the ideal silicone sealant during the project’s installation.</p>

Its impressive architectural design features an innovative double-skin façade that incorporates manual opening and closing mechanisms to provide flexibility and eliminate glare.</p>

<p>High-performance DOWSIL™ 791 and 895 silicones were specified to support this endeavor, providing the ideal joint movement capability needed while also guaranteeing a high strength bond for the development’s façade.</p>

Located on campus in the city’s centre, the new Trinity Business School Building is a state-of-the-art €80 million development for Trinity College Dublin.
